About Us
Mrs Fagan's Sweets stock only the finest confectionery. We use carefully selected suppliers, many of whom still produce their sweets by hand. Wherever possible, manufacturer's names are shown in the product description. Please note the photographs on this site are of products in our shop, but colours/shapes of sweets may vary from that shown. Where sweets are weighed loose, the weight includes immediate wrappers where applicable. All our loose sweets come in a sealed plastic bag to maintain flavour and freshness and different sweets will be put in separate bags, unless you have ordered a product with a 'mixed selection' option.

Making A Purchase
Click on any of the products shown or category headings on the left. Clicking on a section will then take you to the product listing for that section.
Clicking on a product will then display the individual information for that product. Click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order, or alternatively log in to your account.
You can view your shopping basket at any time and amend your order if required.

We accept credit card payment - either using our secure offline system or via PAYPAL. If you are shopping from countries other than the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency on your statement.

We accept all credit/debit cards currently accepted by Paypal. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

For UK customers only, we offer the offline credit card facility for major UK credit/debit cards.

Post & Packaging
Pick n Mix and sweets in jars are weighed and packed in outer plastic bags.
Other items are suitably packaged.

For UK Orders:
We use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery,Special Delivery and Standard Parcels for despatch. which require a signature upon delivery.
You have the option to change the preferred delivery method at the 'Checkout' stage.

For Non-UK Orders:
We use Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets service, for orders over 2Kg, packages may be split into two or more consignments. The delivery charge shown may be subject to change when your order is processed. We will advise you by email if this is the case.

Our minimum postage charge is £3.00 (up to 500g for first class recorded delivery)

Delivery
For all orders received Monday to Friday we aim to despatch within 48 hours. Orders received Saturday or Sunday will not be processed before Monday. Delivery times are not guaranteed, and are service dependant, but for UK orders, usually 1-2 days, Europe 2-5 days, Elsewhere 3-7 days.

Back Orders
We will notify you if an item is out of stock and advise wherever possible expected delivery date(s). Items are placed on back order in this case unless notified by you to the contrary.

Credit Card Security
We understand concerns about internet security and have ensured our online system meets the current recommendations laid out by consumer organisations and comply with Banking standards.

We process all our orders centrally, off-line. All customer details are held in encrypted form on a secure remote server.

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption.
They are only decrypted after they reach our order system.
They are not held in clear text on any web site. For security reasons the credit card details are split and stored on two separate sytems. None of your card details are passed to third parties.

Please note credit/debit card payments are processed by one of our sister companies, Made of Leather and their name will appear on your statement. Your copy of the credit card slip will be despatched with the goods. Any transactions made through Paypal will show as 'sales@mrsfagans.co.uk'.

Guarantee
Due to the nature of the sweets that we sell, and the wide variety of manufacturers and other suppliers that we source products from, we are unable to guarantee that any of the sweets that we sell will be completely free of nuts. If there is a sweet in which you are particularly interested and would like further information please contact us using the Contact Us link and we will endeavour to send you the ingredients list.
